Deer Burger Showdown-Venison Burgers 2 Ways

There is nothing better than a big, juicy, deer burger! Deer burgers will always be a staple for this Missouri family. Now which burger you ask… well that is a tie between my hubby and I. It comes down to the Whiskey BBQ Onion Burger and the Avocado Ranch Bacon Burger. I will let you be the tie breaker!

Here is a little teaser of each… picture burger #1: Caramelized, whiskey flavored, sticky, honey infused onions piled high on a cheesy patty, loaded with your favorite BBQ sauce. Yum!

Burger #2 is a summer time classic. Creamy avocados, tangy ranch flavor, all served over a toasted bun and tomatoes! Plus it has bacon, need I say more? Yum! Winner Winner!

I will let you all vote on your favorite… drop a comment below! Recipes for each of these are in the recipe index, look under Woods to Table.

  • 4 burger buns

  • Add venison. panko, ranch mix, and spices into bowl and combine
  • Form 4 patties

  • Serve and enjoy!

Serve with your favorite sides. We like sweet potato fries, mac n cheese, or bacon baked brussel sprouts (look in the recipe index, Farm to Table for those)
